    Perched at the top of Munjoy Hill in Portland’s East end, we are a chef-owned restaurant built on fresh market ingredients, friends, and family. Chef/Owner Will Lavey and his wife Liz Koenigsberg have been in the Portland restaurant scene for many years. After owning Petite Jacqueline of Portland, Maine for six years, Liz is now very excited to take this next step, along side her husband Will.

    We have fun in the kitchen, but we also couldn’t be more serious about what we do. That’s why we get our goods from the very best: Black Kettle Farm, Laughingstock Farm, Stone Cipher Farm, Fishbowl Farm, Freedom Farm, Valley View Farm eggs and meats, Wee Bit Farm beef and pork, Lankin’s Gorges Cheeses, Woolever Farm lamb, and Rick Tibbet’s mushrooms.

    Saturday brunch includes some of our lunch favorites as well as classic and seasonal morning items. Brunch includes house made breads, a classic breakfast plate, blood orange mimosas and spicy bloody marys.

    Our Dinner menu changes weekly, using what we get from farmers and what moves us during the season. From small tapas plates to full entrees, there are options to go with a glass of wine and for special occasions.

    The wine list at Blue Spoon is always evolving as we discover new favorites. We personally pick each wine on our list, and we love to share them with customers. We also have a full bar and expert bartender who will shake up your favorite cocktail, or help you find a new standby.

    Wine Time

    It’s our favorite time at Blue Spoon. Served Monday through Sunday from 4:30–6 p.m., daily wine specials and our small bites menu start the night off right. Come hang out for a bit after work, or swing by on a late Saturday afternoon.
